Hi! My name is Christen and I am the heart behind Porch Swing Kids & Co. 🌅 ✨

Porch Swing Kids is a baby and children’s boutique inspired by one of my most favorite places— our front porch. Inspired by my favorite little people, and one of the best feelings in the world — love.

The Story 📖

One night, I was sitting on the porch swing watching my three little ones play. My oldest two were running barefoot through the yard, laughing as they chased one another, while my youngest smiled as he peeked through the spindles of the porch, watching their every move. The sun was setting, and the cottonwood off the trees was floating in the glow of the sunset. And I just remember thinking…

“This is it.”

This is the moment I want to remember and relive forever.

As I watched, I remember the outfit my youngest had on- it was this waffle knit cream colored onesie with big brown buttons , and it was the same one that my oldest wore when he was that age.

The Reason 🩵

Someday, these tiny outfits would be packed away. The pajamas they’d worn for Saturday morning snuggles, the little romper from our favorite summer evening, the dress she twirled in barefoot across the lawn—they’re more than just clothes.

It’s choosing pieces that become part of life’s sweetest memories—the outfits worn for first steps, family gatherings, sleepy cuddles, backyard adventures, first day of school, and my favorite late night porch swing snuggles. Clothes that you’ll look back on years from now and instantly remember the little hands, little giggles, and little people who wore them.
